Thief Hall Wedding
Thief Hall is such an amazing venue to hold a wedding!! A chilled out relaxed vibe, with enough accommodation to help your family after a hard day partying and celebrating, and the most epic surroundings.
Martin and Rachel came to me through recommendation from the venue, and were to be married in a lovely little church local to Thief Hall. Beautiful to photograph, a lovely cherry blossom-lined lane leading to the building, and a cozy interior made for an intimate ceremony. On the day I had the company of a male voice choir, who practically lifted the roof off the place.
Over at the wedding breakfast the couple had hired a clay pigeon shooting experience for the guests – highest score wins! Naturally, the bride out-shot the groom! For this competitive couple, it was the perfect opportunity for some good hearted fun.
With the venue being so casual, it was easy to blend in amongst the guests for some candid images. It was great to disappear and catch natural reactions while the guests entertained themselves and each other. And to top off a great day of picture-taking, we managed to fit in time for a ‘Golden Hour’ portrait session, as the sun was setting and the couple wandered into the fields to watch that crazy landscape darken before it was time to party with their guests on the dance floor!
