Mitton Hall Wedding Photographer
Harriet and Dalton chose to get married at their local church in Burnley before heading over to the beautiful Mitton Hall, a Ribble Valley favourite of mine!
Bride Harriet got ready at her parents’ house with her bridesmaids close by, before heading to the church in a vintage double decker bus.
The Priest was accommodating when it came to photography, which is always helpful. We always try to be unobtrusive in ceremonies, shooting with silent cameras, and flash is never used. This means that we can capture those lovely little moments without interrupting one of the most important parts of the day.
The guests managed to get on to the bus to head to the ceremony, by which time the heavens opened and upon arrival people ran into Mitton Hall (love the images of people dashing inside in the rain!! Haha). The room was set beautifully, the cake was EPIC (check the pictures!) and the guests were mingling as we captured a more candid approach.
Amazing wedding band Furious Styles played an acoustic set for the party before they were seated.
We did manage to steal away for a little bit the couple in-between courses to grab some lovely portraits without getting them completely soaked.
Mr Chris Cooper of DFC was on hand through the afternoon to host the breakfast, playing games and reading advice cards for the newlyweds. This made for some great reactions!
Once the evening guests arrived, the bride and her dad took to the dancefloor. I love the way Dalton is looking at Harriet as she walks over to him for them to then start their first dance as husband and wife.
A fun wedding from start to finish, with an unexpected downpour that didn’t even start to throw the spirit of the wedding off.
Thanks to Mitton Hall staff for an awesome day at your stunning venue, and thank you to the families and friends of Harriet and Dalton for a fun-packed day.
Congratulations guys!
