Manchester City Centre Photoshoot
Where do I even start with these guys? You may have heard about Pete and Abby’s unique wedding reception idea when they hit the MEN back in October after booking 67 tickets to The Courteeners gig at Lancashire County Cricket club in May ’17.
Before the wedding we met up with these guys for a walk around Manchester and a chat about their day, their past and what they’re about! They’re regulars at local gigs and love Oasis, The Stone Roses, and Blossoms – so a “proper Manchester” couple! As we spotted it on our way around the Northern Quarter, the couple told us how the Manchester Bee was adopted as the motif for Manchester during the Industrial Revolution, symbolising the Mancunians’ hard work and Manchester being a hive of activity. Our shoot was before the Manchester Arena bombing, where the bee emblem became a symbol of unity and strength.
Having a casual walk around the city centre with these two was a great way to get to know them and get us all excited for their upcoming wedding! Huge thanks to Wayne Myers for assisting on this shoot and contributing to this gorgeous gallery!
