Eaves Hall Wedding
Eaves Hall is one of my favourite wedding venues. Whether its in the height of summer, or a cozy winter wedding, there are so many hidden little spots to take photographs. Set in the heart of the Ribble Valley, this beautiful manor house was the perfect setting for Arabella and Ryan’s big day. From the pre-wedding shoot, we could see how in love and close this couple were, and the wedding day was no different.
Arabella got started with her preparations at The Lodge, at the bottom of the drive to Eaves Hall, before moving up to the Hall to put her wedding dress on. Nerves were setting in on both sides leading up to the ceremony, and I love the look on the brides face as she walks down the aisle to her groom with her dad and step-dad, so much emotion!
After the ceremony we got plenty of casual snaps of the guests enjoying the day, as well as some lovely group shots for the parents to hang on their living room walls. With the grounds of Eaves Hall being so pretty (even when its November) we took the couple away for some portraits on their own for 15 minutes as the sun was dipping and got some gorgeous wedding pictures of them.
The speeches were both heartfelt and funny, and the brides little sister serenaded the guests with Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years” – so fitting for the couple!
This was an absolutely awesome wedding during a busy winter wedding season, topped off with a beautiful first dance and an awesome packed dance floor. And boy do I love a good dance floor!
Thank you to Arabella and Ryan (and their lovely mums!) for a massively enjoyable day – and for my bottle of Haig Clubman (a favourite personal tipple of mine!) to sip once I delivered your images!
