Eaves Hall Wedding Photographer // George + Charlotte

Eaves Hall Wedding Photographer

Eaves Hall Wedding PhotographerBride Charlotte’s preparations started at The Lodge, at the bottom of Eaves Hall’s drive. Lucie MUA was in charge of making sure the girls looked their absolute best, while groom George helped finish setting up the archway for their outdoor ceremony, before heading for a beer with his groomsmen.

The ceremony was simple and beautiful, with the beautiful backdrop of Eaves Hall and the Ribble Valley. The vows were personal and emotional, with a couple of happy tears shed from the couple. I love that I was able to capture the ceremony from the front looking out, and my second shooter, Darren, could photograph the guests and the couple looking towards Eaves Hall – it’s so good to have the two perspectives!

The afternoon was a scorcher, with many of the guests enjoying canapés and welcome cocktails on the bowling green, before heading to the front of the hall for group photographs.

Once the formal photographs were done, the couple disappeared with their dogs to take some family time, and some lovely portraits! The grounds at Eaves are stunning, and suitable for all weathers too! From the steps, into the gardens, and back up the path to head inside for food and speeches! Having two photographers in the speeches too really helps with capturing the speaker, as well as the guests reactions, as a couple you really get more from your day by having that second photographer there.

Once the formal parts of the day are done, I like to use the time before the evening reception to take more casual group photos with daytime guests, and those just arriving for evening celebrations. Its a good opportunity for the couple to capture some memories with their family and friends, and in this case, best friend and cousin Dionne, pulling out some crazy poses for the camera.

DFC’s Ian kicked off the reception with the cake cutting, then into the first dance. The dance floor is a chance for the guests to forget about the cameras and have a good time, and its also a chance for us to blend in and get involved, snapping some lively fun shots to end your evening.  The Daddy O’s carried the guests through the evening with their unique brand of amazing entertainment.

Thank you for having us Charlotte and George, we can’t wait to see how the photographs look on your wall!
