Ashfield House Wedding
It’s safe to say that as soon as we met, we clicked! Our casual style fit in perfectly with Carl and Jess’ relaxed celebration.
We started our shooting in The Sitting Room, capturing the details of the beautiful dress and the Kurt Geiger shoes, whilst make-up artist Kerry Baker gets the girls ready. The bride and bridesmaids looked flawless! Sarah from The Rose Boutique stopped by with the buttonholes and bouquets for the bridal party, showing us the delicate ivory and dusty pink flowers. Jess’s gown was the ‘Audrey’ from Ava Rose Hamilton, and boy did she look the part! The vintage-inspired bridesmaids dresses perfectly complimented the classic hollywood glamour of the bride.
Wayne, aka ‘The Beard’, stuck with the groomsmen before the ceremony, photographing the finer details of the day and helped to get Carl settled before his beautiful bride walked down the aisle. The newly refurbished ceremony room provided us with plenty of light, and room to capture the smiles between this beautiful pair. Having a relaxed atmosphere and amazing grounds, it was the perfect setting for the couple to sneak away together for some portraits of them on their big day. The radiance of the couple made our job super easy!
The evening’s entertainment came from master close-up magician Sam Fitton, who entertained the crowds throughout the afternoon. DFC Lancashire rounded off a spectacular day, with 90’s and 2000’s school disco and pop punk helping the crowds bounce away right to the hangovers of the following morning!
Congratulations, Carl and Jess, and thank you for letting me capture your day. It was my absolute pleasure!
