Hi! I’m Chris! Here’s a photo of me, because I’m usually behind the camera, so you may not have a clue what I look like!
I photographed my first wedding in 2010, and I have loved my job ever since! My love for this game started in University, where I studied Film (watched videos for 3 years). It gave me the knowledge to know what goes into making great imagery, and the passion for creating something that will be appreciated for generations to come!
I got married myself in 2017 to my wonderful wife Victoria. She’s in charge of contracts and invoices, organises your pre-wedding meeting/shoot, and manages our social media pages. She also helps me with editing your images, designing your wedding album, and organising gorgeous prints of your images! She works best when she’s fuelled by coffee, although it never seems to be her turn to brew up.
On a wedding day I always have an assistant with me which will either be “the one with the beard” Wayne, or “the other one” Darren.
Wayne has a strong background in weddings and commercial photography – so he has an eye for detail. Wayne and his wife Sabrina are raising 4 children at home – so weddings feel like a day off for him, haha! His ideal way to finish off the working day is an apple pie and a latte, or a drop of Irish whiskey.
I’ve known Darren for almost 20 years. After winning an award for Young Photographer of the Year, Darren fine tuned his skills right from the days of darkroom photography, up to modern day digital imagery. He enjoys photographing families and couples, and has a keen interest in martial arts, chicken wings and Bumbu rum!
